Our campus staff are available to provide prayer, emotional support, spiritual counseling and financial assistance. CompassCare provides additional support through specialty groups, workshops & seminars, outside referrals, counseling and other resources.
Groups & Classes
"Always our Children" Support Group
A support group for parents of a child living or considering an "alternative lifestyle." This group is an opportunity for parents to listen to each other’s stories, cry with each other, laugh with each other and pray for one another. The common bond is a desire to love their children and stay true to their Christian faith. No registration.
Anxiety & Depression Support Group for Adults
An open support group for adults (post high school) who deal with anxiety and/or depression. Sessions will include practical coping skills, and a time of devotions and prayer. Enter through Door 1. No registration required.

Hobson the HUB
A welcoming and compassionate group that is here to serve you during one of life’s most difficult transitions. Whether you are going through a separation or divorced, we are here to support you. Topics of discussion during this 13 week program will include: loneliness, finances, forgiveness and giving your child(ren) the freedom to love the other parent. Family to Family Class (NAMI)
A free 12-week educational course designed specifically for parents, siblings, spouses, teenage and adult children and significant others of persons dealing with mental illnesses. Taught by trained family members with the lived experience in a friendly and supportive environment. Childcare available $5 per child/session. Registration required at email@example.com.

Financial Peace University
Dave Ramsey's 9-week class is designed to help individuals discover the peace and contentment that comes from managing their financial resources according to God’s purposes and principles. The class presents practical tools for managing your money from a biblical perspective. Childcare available $5 per child/session at Hobson Campus & Free at Wheaton Campus. Cost: $95.

A grief recovery support group where you can find help and healing for the hurt of losing a loved one. The 13-week class will cover topics that include the challenges and journey of grief, the 'why' questions, and dealing with guilt and anger. No childcare available.

Healthy Families Talk
A series providing encouragement and practical tools on how to best tackle the important job of parenting the children God has given you. Each seminar will focus on a specific age group or topic. Online registration required for all seminars.

The PATH Group is a Christ-centered networking and support group for unemployed men and women and those in career transition. Childcare available $5 per child/session. No registration required.

Recovering Redemption Study Group
A 12-session DVD study by Matt Chandler, looking at the root of brokenness and our destructive patterns of behavior; and refocusing on the gospel as the fuel for salvation, sanctification and the panacea to fix all things. Cost: $15. Online registration required.

"Dad's Night Out" A seminar offering dads encouragement and practical suggestions for communicating, listening to, guiding and spending time with their children. Cost: $10 for seminar/dinner. Childcare $10 per child (includes dinner). Online registration required.

"Mom’s Night Out" An evening with Lara Krupicka, author of “Bucket List Living for Moms”. Marriage 201 Conference
"Back to the Basics"
Couples will go back to the heart of crucial issues faced in marriage such as conflict resolution, communication, sexual intimacy, and finances. Cost: $25 per couple for workshop & lunch. Childcare $10 per child (includes lunch). Online registration required.

The Compass Church Benevolence Fund exists to assist members and regular attenders facing an emergency financial crisis. It also supports local organizations providing assistance in our community. The fund is managed by the Benevolence Committee who is appointed by and serves under the guidance of the Elder Board. Applications for Benevolence are available at CompassCentral or the main office at each campus.
Stephen Ministries - Hobson Campus
A Stephen Minister is trained to provide quality, one-to-one care to individuals experiencing a variety of life crisis issues. Meetings generally are one hour per week for up to a year.

The Restore After Abortion Program, part of CareNet Pregnancy Services of DuPage offer Free and Confidential post abortion care to women, men & teens. One can choose to meet 1:1 with a counselor or in a small group setting. Many of the counselors have experienced abortion themselves, and all go through extensive training on the effects of post abortion.
Counselors are also available to meet with family members, who may need to talk through the effects of an abortion that a loved one had.
