An opportunity to learn some basic facts & myths about domestic violence, reasons people stay in abusive relationships and available local resources. Come also to hear one of our own members share her personal experience.

Marriage Boot Camp is for couples who have been married one to sixty years. Couples will learn essential tools to build and maintain a strong and healthy relationship. Topics include marriage expectations, finances, conflict resolution and intimacy. Registration required (for childcare, too).

Cost: $30 per couple for workbooks. Make-up sessions for time missed can be arranged. Dinner is also available before the boot camp (5-6:30p) in the Atrium (suggested donation $5 per adult).

This six-week course, featuring a panel of experts, will equip parents of children of any age to be conversant on complex cultural topics such as pornography, identity, homosexuality, abortion, technology, and more from a gospel perspective.

Women of the Bolingbrook Campus are invited for an evening of refreshment! Darcy Ruscitti, Executive Director of Central Ministries, will share a message. Childcare is provided. Please bring an appetizer or dessert. Prepare to be refreshed and encouraged!

Prayer, Fasting, and the Pursuit of God
Our culture is constantly telling us that we can achieve anything we set our mind to. Sadly, many followers of Christ and many churches have adopted this self-sufficient mindset, relying on their own wisdom and abilities instead of relying on God. But what if we were never intended to be self-sufficient? And what if God has designed us so that our greatest satisfaction is found as we depend on Him fully for everything we need?

In Secret Church 19 we’ll take an in-depth look at the Bible’s teaching on prayer and fasting. We’ll see that our inabilities and weaknesses are the very place where God meets us with His strength and sufficiency. We’ll also see that faithfulness to the mission of Christ requires depending on the Spirit of Christ. Through prayer and fasting, we demonstrate our need for God’s power and our desire for His glory.

We have an exciting opportunity to help refurbish the homes of low-income families in Aurora. Please join us for a one or two-day serve on Friday, April 26 and/or Saturday, April 27. Serving times are approximately 8a-4p daily. There's a focus on skilled labor on Friday, and skilled and unskilled labor (scraping, cleaning, light landscaping and painting) on Saturday. Individuals and small groups are encouraged. Youth ages 14 & up can serve with a parent.
